For Veteran’s Day, Fusion 364 brought our Gulfport Armed Forces Retirement Home a display of what their sacrifices and bravery have helped to inspire and protect. The team demonstrated our Hardin Hammer robot and toured the grounds to learn more about our retired soldiers.

At Boo Bash in Jones Park, Team Fusion demonstrated the Hardin Hammer. We engaged younger students and potential 364’s by launching frisbees to the ecstatic youths.

Fusion seized the opportunity to educate middle school students in the robotics and engineering of VEX. Our members assisted the interested youths in building their robots. At the end of the week, we then held a competition for the youths to demonstrate their progress.

Eighth graders were introduced to engineering and Fusion at the P2P convention. Our Scorpion and Hardin Hammer were on display for the interested youths. Our members then taught about our robots and the work put in on it. They played games with the students and encouraged the Stem programs and robotics.

Altogether, our members have a total of 7,661 community service hours this season so far.
